Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist and therapist who has been working in mental health since 2003. I have worked in diverse settings as correctional facilities with juveniles and adults at all security levels, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, state developmental center, charter school, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, and outpatient settings both in office and through telehealth. I have a unique clinical background that assists me in assisting people of many different backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My approach I believe you will find me truly interested in your experience and your journey. I see myself as a light holder, or at times the keeper of the compass, as we journey toward healing. I have lens that considers the biological, social, psychological, and spiritual components that comprise my clients. I am trained in CBT, EMDR, Behavioral Therapies, Adult Attachment Styles, and attend to both cultural and spiritual beliefs as appropriate.

What you can expect from me

In a session, you can expect confidentiality, as well as, to be treated with respect and dignity. I work hard to understand the issues or symptoms presented in session and to offer tools that provide insight or assistance with the particular issue which brings you to see me. I appreciate and ask for feedback in sessions to assure your are getting the support and help you may need to heal.
