Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome! I’m Kassandra Flores, you can call me Kassy, and I’m so glad you’re considering working together. I specialize in creating a supportive and empowering environment where you can explore your challenges, gain insight, and make meaningful changes in your life.

I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I use a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping clients navigate a wide range of concerns, including relationships, parenting, anxiety, ADHD, and life changes. I also focus on helping clients better understand their own thought and behavior patterns so they can break free from unhelpful cycles and build healthier habits.

I work best with adults across the life-span, tailoring my approach to suit each individual’s unique needs and goals. My priority is to meet you where you’re at and walk with you every step of the way as we work toward your personal growth.

Remember, the hardest step is showing up – and once you do, we can work together to create the change you’re seeking.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and inquisitive space where you can feel safe and supported on your journey toward self-discovery. My approach is centered on empowering you to find your voice and embrace your authentic self. I believe that the hardest step in therapy is simply showing up, and once you do, we can work together to navigate the path ahead. I am committed to challenging you in a nurturing environment, helping you uncover the strength and resilience you already possess. Let's work together to build a life, relationship with self and/or another - that you imagined.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help you gain deeper self-awareness, uncover your strengths, and develop the tools you need to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. We will work collaboratively to set meaningful goals that align with your values, whether that’s improving relationships, managing anxiety, making sense of patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, or coping with life transitions.

As we progress, you’ll likely develop a greater sense of self-efficacy, learning how to respond to challenges in healthier, more adaptive ways. You’ll also have the opportunity to work through any barriers that may be holding you back, whether it's anxiety, self-doubt, or unhelpful habits. You’ll leave each session feeling supported and with practical strategies you can apply to real-life situations. Together, we will foster growth, healing, and meaningful change in a nurturing space.
