Great to meet you!

Howdy! My name is Katelyn, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Oklahoma and have extensive experience working with both children and adults presenting with a broad range of mental health needs. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), substance use and addiction recovery, borderline personality disorder, schizophrenia, and other complex mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy

Simply put: I have a heart for people. Life is hard, and we’re all doing our best to take care of ourselves. My approach is grounded in compassionate, individualized care with a touch of humor. Working as someone’s therapist is a great responsibility, and something I take seriously. I utilize a mixture of motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, active listening, and Gottman methods, depending on the need.

What you can expect from me

The goal of a first session is to get you comfortable. I will orient you to my practice and also hear what you’re struggling with and what your goals are.
