I am a LCSW with over 20 years of experience who works with clients as a partner in their healing journey. I have a PhD in Public Affairs with a social work emphasis, and teach issues of ethics, working with complex cases and use of technology. My background is diverse including working in community mental health, hospice and end of life care, oncology and medical issues, as well as working with gender and sexual minorities.

I like to see my work as a partnership with you being the expert of you. I bring a direct but validating approach to assist you in finding the best version of yourself.

What you can expect from me

Initiating therapy can be intimidating and the first session is typically me learning about you, your history and your goals. As we move on we dive into patterns that are identified and how to implement a variety of tools that best fit your needs.
