Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kate — a therapist who truly understands what it means to carry a lot at once, because I've lived it. When I was eight weeks pregnant with my second child, I was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer. I went through chemotherapy during my pregnancy, then kept going while recovering from childbirth and caring for a toddler. I know firsthand how overwhelming it feels when your body, your family, and your sense of control all shift at the same time — and how much it matters to have someone who truly gets it in your corner.

My approach to therapy

That experience shapes how I show up for every client at KB Mindful Living. I specialize in supporting people through grief, anxiety, depression, and the unique emotional landscape of high-risk pregnancy. If you're navigating a frightening diagnosis alongside a pregnancy, grieving a loss, carrying anxiety that won't quiet down, or feeling weighed down by depression, you don't have to figure it out alone — and you don't have to explain the hard parts from scratch. I've been in rooms like these, both as a clinician and as a patient, and I bring both of those perspectives into our work together.

My approach is compassionate, grounded, and centered on you. Every person's story is different, and I want KB Mindful Living to be a space where yours is truly heard — not rushed, not minimized, not generalized. Whether you're working through a high-risk pregnancy, processing a loss, or trying to manage anxiety or depression that's affecting your daily life, we'll go at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

I'd be honored to be part of your care team. Reach out, and let's start this work together.
