Great to meet you!

Starting out with a new therapist or beginning therapy for the first time can feel scary, maybe even downright terrifying. I offer a laid-back place to show up as you are without judgement, talk about the hard stuff that we inevitably experience through life, and maybe have a laugh or two in the process. I approach therapy as a collaboration. We are a team. You set the destination you want to get to, and I’m here to help you navigate.

My approach to therapy

I want you to leave our sessions with a tangible step that you can take towards your personal goals. I integrate a variety of therapy approaches and techniques based on each client’s needs including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

What you can expect from me

Humans are resilient, but we are not wired to do life alone. There may be times that you need more support, unbiased feedback, or just a safe space to be your genuine self. Described by a client before as “compassionately direct”, I strive to be a transparent and non-judgmental supporter to you on your journey.
