Great to meet you!

I've spent more than 30 years working alongside adults through some of life's hardest moments — crisis, loss, addiction, burnout, and the kind of transitions that shake your sense of self. That experience spans public mental health, behavioral health leadership, and substance use treatment, so I've seen a wide range of what people carry. What hasn't changed is my belief that every person deserves to feel genuinely heard and treated with dignity. I'm not here to hand you a checklist — I'm here to understand your specific story.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered and practical. We'll identify what matters most to you, build on the strengths you already have, and develop concrete strategies — not just insight, but tools you can actually use. I draw on evidence-based methods and tailor them to fit your goals, not the other way around. Sessions feel like a real conversation, collaborative and grounded, with a clear sense of direction.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about you getting comfortable and me getting to know you — no pressure to have it all figured out. We'll talk about what's brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to change or work through, and what's felt like a barrier so far. By the end, you'll have a clearer picture of how we might work together and what next steps could look like. Most people leave feeling less alone in what they're carrying.
