Kathleen Lawn

I'm Kathleen, I'm a Nurse Practitioner with six years of clinical experience and dual certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner as I believe in order to obtain optimal health, it's important to include both body and mind.

More recently, I graduated from East Carolina University in North Carolina with my post master's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification, shifting more into focusing on behavioral health.

I'm passionate about supporting patients in their journey who are struggling with anxiety, depression, sleep and mood disorders, stress, grief, panic disorders, OCD, and ADHD (among other things).

I believe optimal health is achieved through an integrated approach that addresses both physical and mental well-being. I enjoy developing close, collaborative partnerships with my patients and their families, guiding them through their healthcare journey with compassion and evidence-based care.

I enjoy learning from my patients about where they are coming from (or what they've been through), meeting them where they're at and finding out where they want to go. I enjoy traveling that journey with my patients and determine how best we get there.

This is why I always start with an introductory session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story so we can figure out how best to travel the journey together and where we want to go!

My goal is to create a warm and comfortable environment that allows us to work together to build this professional friendship with honesty and mutual respect.
