Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kathleen. I’m a licensed counselor who values creating a warm, supportive space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I use practical, evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help you navigate life’s challenges and build skills that last. I’ve worked with individuals across all ages and bring a person‐centered, collaborative approach to every session. My goal is to support meaningful growth and help you move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, collaborative approach to therapy, working with you to understand your experiences and find practical ways forward. My style is flexible and person‐centered, using tools from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to support your goals. I have experience helping with mood challenges, substance use, and life transitions, with a focus on building real‐life skills. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel supported and able to make meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a relaxed, supportive space where we get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in. I’ll ask some questions to understand your goals, history, and what you’d like to get out of therapy, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll begin identifying focus areas and set simple, meaningful goals to guide our work. My priority is helping you feel safe, heard, and supported from the very start.
