Great to meet you!

I strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and new decisions at your own pace. My approach is grounded in understanding the many factors that influence mental health and overall well-being, including relationships, life transitions, responsibilities, cultural and family systems, past experiences, and trauma. I value building healing therapeutic relationships and listening with empathy and respect. I aim to support you in connecting with your inner strengths and wisdom as we work together on your journey toward greater clarity and wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing happens within a safe and trusting relationship. I work at your pace, helping you explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns with compassion and curiosity. Together, we look at the many influences that shape your wellbeing—your relationships, life transitions, responsibilities, past experiences, cultural and family systems, and any traumas that may be impacting you.

I draw on trauma-informed, person-centered, and strengths-based approaches. I listen deeply and respectfully, supporting you in reconnecting with your own inner resources and wisdom. My goal is to help you feel seen, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and collaborative environment. We’ll review what brings you to therapy, discuss relevant history, and explore any immediate concerns. I’ll share information about how I work and answer any questions you may have so you feel informed and comfortable moving forward.

We’ll also begin clarifying your goals—whether they involve symptom relief, deeper self-understanding, navigating a transition, or healing from past experiences. By the end of our session, you’ll have a clearer sense of what therapy with me will look like and the initial steps we can take together.
