Kathleen Petrak

I am a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in community mental health and private practice for over 20 years with children, teens and adults. I earned my MA in General Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I primarily work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues and difficulties related to trauma.

I am also licensed in Maine (LCPC), Utah (LCMHC) and Nevada (LCPC).

I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

My approach is collaborative and supportive. I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is an evidence-based trauma treatment that can also treat anxiety, depression and a variety of other conditions, and cognitive techniques as well as focusing on the mind - body connection. I use a variety of methods as each individual responds differently and has different therapeutic needs.

I try to provide a safe, comfortable environment where clients can be open and honest and find peace and healing.
