Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed psychologist with a PsyD, and I work with children (ages 6–12), teenagers, and adults across New Hampshire. I offer in-person sessions at my office in Bristol, NH and telehealth appointments throughout the state — so you can choose the format that actually works for your life.

I specialize in trauma, PTSD, identity development, autism and neurodivergence, depression, stress, and women's mental health. I also conduct psychological and neuropsychological testing through my private practice — which means I bring a fuller picture of how the mind works into the therapy room, not just a symptom checklist.

Most of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware. They're not confused about the fact that something isn't working — they just need a place to actually look at it. I take Humana, United Healthcare, Aetna, and Anthem Medicare Advantage plans. For children and adolescents, please reach out directly to discuss coverage and payment options.

My approach to therapy

My approach is humanistic and collaborative — which means I'm less interested in fitting your experience into a predetermined framework and more interested in understanding how you make sense of yourself and the world. I draw from EMDR, IFS (Internal Family Systems), somatic therapy, attachment-based approaches, ACT, CBT, and psychodynamic methods, adapting what's most useful to you rather than following a protocol.

I believe therapy can hold real warmth and real honesty at the same time. I'll bring curiosity, humor when it fits, and a willingness to point things out directly. My goal isn't to manage your symptoms — it's to help you understand the patterns underneath them, so the changes you make actually last.

For younger clients, I incorporate play therapy, art therapy, and developmentally appropriate approaches that meet children where they are, not where we want them to be.

What you can expect from me

The first session is practical and honest — whether we meet in person in Bristol or over video. We'll cover the foundational logistics: informed consent, confidentiality, how I work — so you know exactly what you're agreeing to. Then we talk. I'll ask about what brought you here, what's been happening, and what you're hoping for — but there's no expectation that you have a polished answer ready.

I'll also be paying attention to fit. Research consistently shows the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful variable in whether therapy works. If we connect, great — we'll start building a shared understanding and a direction. If we don't, I'll tell you honestly and help you find someone who might be a better match.

Most clients leave the first session feeling clearer about what they want from the work — and less alone with it.
