Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with children, teens, adults, and families in private practice, school, and community-based settings. Before moving into private practice, I worked as a school counselor, which gave me experience supporting students and families with school concerns, 504 Plans, IEPs, accommodations, and collaboration with educators and other professionals.

I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent clients and individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, executive functioning challenges, relationships, identity, and life transitions. I also provide LGBTQ+ affirming care and strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. When working with children and teens, I incorporate creativity, art, play, and interactive activities when appropriate and work closely with parents to support progress outside of sessions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strengths-based, solution-focused, collaborative, and neurodivergent affirming. I don’t believe therapy should look exactly the same for everyone. I want to understand how you think, what is already working, where you feel stuck, and what changes would actually be realistic in your life.

My style is conversational and supportive, while still practical and goal-oriented. We may explore patterns and understand where they come from, but I also like asking, “Now that we understand this, what can we do differently?” With younger clients, I adapt this approach through creative and developmentally appropriate interventions rather than expecting children to communicate solely through conversation.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask what's been going on, what you would like to change, what has and hasn’t worked in the past, and what you hope to get from our work together.

You don’t need to come into the first session knowing exactly what your goals are or how to explain everything perfectly. We can figure that out together. I also want you to get a feel for my style and ask questions. By the end of the session, we’ll begin identifying what you’d like to work on and what an individualized approach to therapy might look like for you.
