Great to meet you!

I have clinical experience working with people from various cultural backgrounds and life stages. While I have specialization in addiction treatment, I am experienced in addressing most areas of concern including depression, anxiety, intense emotion, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, and loss.

My approach to therapy

Therapy works best when the process is creative and customized to a person’s unique needs. In my work with clients, I primarily use Dialectical-Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions to explore client concerns and promote change. I promise to work together with you to incorporate the strengths you already have into the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

I see the counselor/client relationship as a partnership based on genuineness, empathy, and active collaboration. In working together, you can expect to develop insight into your own thinking, feelings, and behaviors. We will also discuss your specific goals in therapy and develop a unique treatment plan that clearly measures progress.
