Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Addiction Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Since 2020, I have provided compassionate counseling to children, teens, adults, older adults, and families.

I specialize in anxiety, addiction and substance use disorders, and ADHD. I also support clients navigating trauma, relationship and communication challenges, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. My specialized training includes gender-affirming care, addiction recovery, and reentry and community reintegration services.

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based strategies, I tailor treatment to your needs and help you build practical skills for meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and collaborative. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can openly share your experiences, feel heard, and work toward goals that matter to you.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, challenge unhelpful patterns, and develop practical coping skills. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based strategies to support emotional regulation, communication, and managing stress.

I tailor treatment to your unique needs, with a focus on anxiety, addiction, ADHD, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Together, we will build on your strengths and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share at your own pace. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and needs, while giving you space to ask questions and share your preferences. Together, we will identify meaningful goals and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and clearer about the next steps.
