Great to meet you!

I am a highly empathic and affirming counselor whose first goal is to create an environment safe enough for my clients to be authentically seen without judgment. Therapy is about transformation and having someone to guide you through such a process can make all the difference. I have found that most people possess the necessary tools to improve their life and simply need someone who highlights them.

My approach to therapy

I have a warm but direct approach and utilize humor, when appropriate, to explore challenges and collaborate on ways to live one’s most fulfilled life. I incorporate a variety of methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and creative interventions. This is done while using an empowerment, humanistic, and cultural humility approach.

What you can expect from me

Therapy should be a place where you can discuss and unpack your experiences exactly as you are. I believe that all sexualities and identities are worthy of love, respect, and belonging. Whether you adhere to a religion or no religion at all, your spiritual perspectives and experiences are welcome. Growth in therapy can only occur when you feel it is a safe place where you can process, heal, and learn to trust yourself.
