Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) and first-generation Filipino American therapist who understands that life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect. Many of the people I work with are navigating major life changes or unexpected challenges such as career transitions, relationship changes, divorce, health diagnoses, grief, identity exploration, parenthood, or adjusting to new roles and responsibilities.

My lived experience helps me empathize with the complexity of balancing cultural expectations, personal values, and practical realities. I provide a space where clients can process difficult emotions, gain clarity, and develop strategies to move forward with confidence.

I earned my Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and have experience supporting adults across a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, adjustment difficulties, identity development, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, capable, and equipped to handle whatever comes next.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is practical, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I draw from evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches help clients better understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing skills to manage stress, regulate emotions, and make meaningful changes.

That said, therapy with me does not feel overly clinical or scripted. I aim to create a genuine, human connection where clients feel comfortable being themselves. Our work together is focused on what matters most to you, and sessions are structured to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and move toward your goals in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.

Therapy is one hour that is fully dedicated to you: your experiences, your priorities, and your growth.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, my priority is helping you feel comfortable and understood. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, what you would like to change or improve, and what has or has not worked for you in the past.

Many clients leave the first session feeling more grounded, more hopeful, and clearer about next steps. I aim to create an environment that is supportive, focused, and productive, where you feel confident that you are working with someone who understands both the emotional and practical aspects of change.

You can expect a balance of listening, thoughtful questions, and initial strategies to help you begin moving forward.
