Great to meet you!
Katrina Cauble has a Bachelor’s in Human Services from Queen’s University and a Masters in Community Counseling from University of North Carolina. Katrina has been dedicated to helping others with her life experiences and love of people. She has had practicums or internships with organizations such as Crisis Assistance Ministry, Time Out Youth, and the Chaplin’s office in Atrium’s Hospital. She has ten years of experience with two different Hospice organizations.
Katrina is now available for internet or in person sessions. Stellium Counseling came into being for her love of Astrology. Stellium means three or more points very close together to strengthen the whole.
Katrina is trained in Person Centered Counseling yet uses different approaches for what is needed to meet the client where they are at the time. These approaches are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She plans within the next year to add Somatic Experiencing and EMDR. She has the most experience in grief work, even working through the Pandemic as a grief counselor. She finds working with life transitions, depression and anxiety is meaningful work. These are issues she has experience as the client and as the therapist. Stellium Counseling has a goal to provide compassionate and grounded space for the client to explore life challenges and learn inner resources to move in life with clarity and purpose. Stellium Counseling is located in the Belmont/Elizabeth/Plaza Midwood area of Charlotte, North Carolina on E 3rd Street in the Providence Center.
