Great to meet you!

Hey there! My name's Katrina and I'm excited to meet you and hear all about your goals. I love walking along side people to support and uplift them in their life's journey.

I have been working in the field of counseling for over a decade now specializing in both trauma and addiction recovery.

I've been able to help many folks work through their past trauma, drama, and dysfunction (or current roadblocks) so that they can enjoy their life and walk freely in their passion and purpose!

My approach to therapy

I try to meet my clients where they are and use therapeutic treatments and modalities that best fit their own personal style and preference. I have had a lot of great outcomes utilizing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy for a range of issues related to trauma and attachment issues as well as helping to heal childhood trauma. I also love to incorporate spiritual practices as requested by my clients (such as biblical counseling, mindfulness and self-compassion).

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to be challenged, empowered, and encouraged as we work together towards their personalized goals. I believe there are many ways to reach the same destination, so if something is working well, we can do more of that thing! If not, I’m not afraid to shift gears and try something new and different...healing and growing is a process of self-discovery and half the battle is figuring out what works best for you!
