I know that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and accepted from the very beginning. I enjoy working with teens (14+) and adults from all backgrounds, with a special passion for supporting women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and neurodivergent clients. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or the journey into parenthood, my goal is to help you feel heard and empowered as we work toward meaningful, lasting change together.
I believe therapy is most effective when it feels collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and evidence-based, drawing from EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and other techniques depending on your goals. Together, we'll explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you while building practical tools to help you heal, grow, and move forward with greater confidence.
During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I'll ask about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and what you hope to achieve through counseling. There's no pressure to share everything right away—we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to help you reach your goals.
