Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Master of Science in Health Service Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. My education and professional experience in mental health, health care, and nutrition offer a depth and breadth of experience that enables me to view the whole person holistically.

My approach to therapy

Through a collaborative and personalized approach, I offer a holistic perspective that reconnects the mind and body for deeper healing. The therapeutic relationship, built on trust and understanding, is an essential component to therapy, and I strive to bring warmth, encouragement, and humor into our collaboration. Clients working with me will find a curious and empathic listening ear and a realistic, down to earth collaborator in their therapy journey.

What you can expect from me

I approach every client through a trauma-informed, systemic and sociocultural lens, incorporating a range of experiential modalities to facilitate healing. When we experience trauma or emotional distress, our brains and bodies become wired for survival. Using approaches like somatic experiencing (SE), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR helps clients harness the power of their minds and bodies to move out of survival mode and cultivate the capacity needed to live a full, authentic life.
