Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kayla Williams, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who is passionate about helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change. I specialize in anxiety, perfectionism, self-esteem, relationship challenges, life transitions, and burnout. I particularly enjoy working with people who appear to have it all together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unfulfilled on the inside. With a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and experience supporting clients through a variety of emotional and relational challenges, my goal is to create a space where you can take off the mask, feel genuinely understood, and begin prioritizing your own well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be more than just a place to vent—it should be a space where you gain insight, develop practical tools, and begin making meaningful changes in your life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and gently challenging. I blend evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), to help you better understand your emotions, recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build healthier ways of navigating life's challenges. Together, we'll explore not only what's happening on the surface, but also the deeper experiences shaping how you see yourself and connect with others. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy—we'll work through it together.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. We’ll take time to get to know each other, talk about what’s been bringing you in, and begin to explore the goals you’d like to work toward. My priority is to make you feel heard, supported, and understood, so we can start building a strong foundation for growth and healing, at your pace, and in a way that feels right for you.
