Great to meet you!

You shouldn't have to leave parts of yourself at the door to feel understood, especially in therapy. I'm Kaylia, and I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from John Brown University. I love working with teens and adults as they build confidence, connection, and emotional insight. I support clients navigating ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, stress, relationship issues, women’s issues, caregiver fatigue, bipolar disorder, panic disorders, infertility, maternal mental health concerns, and challenges connected to church leadership roles. My goal is to meet you with warmth, curiosity, and compassion wherever you are in your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, person-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s needs. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and identity at your own pace. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients gain new perspectives, recognize unhelpful patterns, and build practical coping skills. My style is supportive, curious, and encouraging, with a focus on helping you feel understood while building tools for meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I will focus on creating a safe, welcoming space where you can show up as you are. We will spend time getting to know one another, talking about what brings you to therapy, and exploring what you hope will feel different through our work together. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable. Together, begin identifying your strengths, needs, and goals so we can create a path toward healing, wholeness, and practical growth.
