Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kaylin — a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board-Certified Music Therapist with five years of experience helping clients heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and attachment-related challenges, and I believe that genuine connection and trust are at the heart of every successful therapeutic relationship.

My approach is creative, compassionate, and integrative. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Rapid Resolution Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Play Therapy, and Theraplay. As a music therapist, I often incorporate music and other expressive techniques into sessions to help clients access emotions, build regulation, and experience healing in new ways.

Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me listening to Taylor Swift, surrounded by all things pink, or diving into something creative—whether that’s crafting, making music, or laughing at the latest TikTok trends. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where authenticity, humor, and healing can coexist.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in connection, curiosity, and understanding the whole person. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is the most powerful catalyst for healing — when someone feels genuinely seen, understood, and accepted, real change can happen. I take time to truly learn about each client’s world, honoring their story across the past, present, and future. In our work together, I aim to create a space that feels safe, compassionate, and collaborative, where we can explore what’s beneath the surface and move toward healing in a way that feels authentic and empowering.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, my goal is to get to know you, not just why you’re here, but who you are as a person. We’ll spend time exploring your interests, what’s important to you, what brings you joy, and what goals or hopes you have for therapy. This initial session isn’t about diving straight into deep work; it’s about starting to build a genuine connection and sense of safety. I believe that healing begins with relationship, so we’ll focus on creating a space where you can feel comfortable, understood, and supported as we begin your therapeutic journey together.
