Great to meet you!

I want you to know that you don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through my door. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without pressure or judgment. My style is warm, down to earth, and genuinely curious about who you are beyond your symptoms. I care deeply about helping you feel understood, not just treated. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or a general sense of feeling stuck, I am here to support you in a way that feels human, not clinical. I see our work as a partnership where your voice matters and your experiences are honored every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for your unique story. I take time to really listen, not just to what is going wrong, but to what has shaped you, what has helped you survive, and what strengths you already carry. I believe meaningful care happens when you feel safe enough to be honest and empowered enough to take steps forward at your own pace.

I blend thoughtful medication management with a holistic, person centered perspective. That means we will look at the full picture of your life, not just a checklist of symptoms. I will always explain options clearly and involve you in decisions so you feel informed and in control of your care. My goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you build a life that feels more balanced, manageable, and aligned with who you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simply a conversation, not an interrogation. We will take time to talk about what brought you in, what you have been experiencing, and what you are hoping might feel different in your life. I will ask some gentle, thoughtful questions to better understand your history and your goals, but you are always in control of what you choose to share.

You can expect a calm, welcoming environment where you can take your time. We will begin exploring possible paths forward together, and I will walk you through any recommendations in a clear and supportive way. By the end of our session, my hope is that you feel heard, respected, and a little more at ease, with a clearer sense of direction and the reassurance that you are not navigating this alone.
