Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 20 years of experience in medicine including time in the ICU which showed me firsthand how often traditional medicine ignores the mind-body connection. That gap is what drove me to specialize in psychiatric-mental health care, completing my certification at Walden University.

My approach to therapy

My approach is simple: I listen first. Every new patient gets my full attention their story, their concerns, their history, and what they actually want from treatment. Care should be a two-way street, so treatment plans are always built together. I'll never push you toward something you're not comfortable with.

What you can expect from me

When it comes to treatment, I draw from a range of options current psychiatric medications, psychotherapy, and natural approaches like vitamins, supplements, and lifestyle changes. I find that combining medication and therapy tends to work best, and I'm always transparent about the options, risks, and alternatives. I also work closely with a team of psychiatrists and therapists to make sure every patient gets truly well-rounded care.
