Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, yoga therapy, and life coaching. I have spent over 20 years providing mental health services to children and adults of all ages who have difficulties related to depression, anxiety, trauma, work/school, and interpersonal relationships. My practice philosophy is that with the right tools and support, every individual can be empowered to change his or her life for the better.

My approach to therapy

My professional and personal journey has led me to value the importance of balancing physical, mental, and spiritual health in order to experience total wellness. My clinical practice combines cognitive behavior therapy with a solutions focused strengths based approach. I am also trained as a yoga and meditation teacher and often incorporate meditation and mindfulness practices to help manage stress.

What you can expect from me

Therapy sessions focus on helping you identify patterns of thinking and behaving that have contributed to your stress as well as those that have supported your success. We’ll develop an action plan and implement the tools you need to support it. This includes things like identifying fears, using positive self-talk, and learning coping skills such as meditation and mindfulness practices.
