Great to meet you!

I believe that building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change in all the clients I work with. I offer a non-judgmental, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

With experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across age groups 11 years old and up. I tailor my approach to meet you where you are. Whether you're facing current challenges or navigating long-standing struggles, my goal is to support you in moving toward a more positive and fulfilling place.

I am a certified school psychologist and a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia, and I look forward to working collaboratively with you on your journey toward healing and growth. I do provide ADHD & Autism Screening reports, however these are not covered by insurance.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified School Psychologist, I integrate evidence-based approaches to support adolescents, teens, young adults, and families in building emotional regulation, resilience, and self-awareness. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Positive Psychology principles.

I also draw from mindfulness and bibliotherapy techniques to promote insight and growth.

I take a collaborative, strengths-based, and compassionate approach, tailoring each session to meet clients where they are. I believe in helping clients and families identify practical strategies that build coping skills, foster healthy communication, and strengthen overall well-being—both at home and in school settings.

What you can expect from me

The first session, which is often called an intake session, is a chance for us to get to know each other. During this time, I’ll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, what challenges you’re facing, and what your goals are. We’ll also go over important background information such as your personal history, relationships, emotional and physical health, and any past therapy experiences.

This session is about creating a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. There’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also explain how therapy works, discuss confidentiality, answer any questions you have, and work with you to create a plan that’s tailored to your individual specific needs.

Most importantly, this session is a two-way street: it’s not only for me to learn about you, but for you to get a feel for how I work and decide if you feel comfortable moving forward together. In working with adolescents/teens it is important for me to establish a rapport and trusting relationship. This may take a few sessions.

As a parent you are a key adult in the child's life and your participation and support in therapy is very important. I work with ages 10 and up, please keep in mind telehealth therapy does not work for everyone and can be very difficult for younger clients especially those who struggle with attention.
