Great to meet you!

Hi. I am Keishia and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with experience providing compassionate, person-centered mental health services. I have worked in several settings in the community, crisis centers, and in school settings supporting individuals in managing their mental health, achieving personal goals, and improving outlook for the future. I am committed to empowering individuals through evidence-based interventions, strength-based approaches, and collaborative care that promotes emotional wellness, personal growth, and improved quality of life.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. I cannot change the world, but I can change the people in my world. Through the use of strength based, person centered, empathy, and positive regard I aim to create a safe space where you can be empowered, encouraged, and supported in reaching your personalized goals. As your therapeutic partner, it’s important to me that we communicate openly, and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will spend time getting to know you, your reasons for seeking assistance, and identifying some goals and objectives for treatment. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure.
