Great to meet you!

I bring over 25 years of experience as a full-time School Counselor and have also worked in outpatient mental health settings. I hold an M.S. in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland.

As a woman of faith grounded in Christian principles, I honor and respect people of all backgrounds and beliefs. I am comfortable incorporating spirituality and existential exploration into therapy when desired and appropriate.

Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or want to explore deeper self-understanding, I am here to walk alongside you. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and live a life that is balanced, meaningful, and worth celebrating.

My approach to therapy

I believe that a strong, trusting relationship with your therapist is the foundation for meaningful growth and change. In our work together, I meet you where you are—with empathy, compassion, and without judgment. My holistic approach focuses on your mind, body, and spirit. I use cognitive-behavioral and integrative techniques, incorporating mindfulness, spirituality (when appropriate), and the mind-body connection to support healing and growth. I believe that combining all of these approaches is a recipe for success which is my goal for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a supportive and nonjudgmental space. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you'd like to work on moving forward.

Together, we’ll begin to outline goals and determine the best way to support your needs. Whether you're feeling nervous, uncertain, or just curious, you're welcome exactly as you are.

The most important part of this first meeting is establishing a sense of safety and trust—so you can decide if this feels like the right fit for you.
