Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I support adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship and family challenges, self-esteem concerns, parenting stress, and major life transitions.

My background includes outpatient therapy, hospital social work, behavioral health care coordination, crisis assessment, treatment planning, and work with individuals and families across different stages of life. I bring a grounded, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental approach to therapy, with the goal of helping clients feel heard, supported, and better equipped to move through the challenges they are facing.

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up honestly, without feeling like you have to have everything figured out. Together, we can explore patterns, build insight, strengthen coping skills, and identify practical steps toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and direct when needed. I work from a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive lens.

I often incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, family systems work, and mindfulness-based strategies depending on each client’s needs.

I do not believe therapy is one-size-fits-all. Some clients need space to process, some need skills and structure, and many need both. My goal is to meet clients where they are, help them better understand themselves, and support them in building tools that feel realistic and sustainable in everyday life.

I value honesty, safety, and trust in the therapeutic relationship. I aim to create a space where clients can feel supported while also being gently challenged toward growth.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a conversation focused on getting to know them, understanding what brings them to therapy, and identifying what they would like support with.

I typically ask about current concerns, relevant history, strengths, stressors, relationships, coping skills, and goals for therapy.

My goal is to create a space that feels supportive, respectful, and not rushed. You do not have to share everything at once or have all the answers right away. The first session is about beginning to understand your story, clarifying what feels most important, and deciding together what direction therapy should take.

We will also review expectations for therapy, confidentiality, scheduling, and any questions you may have. By the end of the first session, my hope is that you feel heard, have a sense of how we may work together, and leave with a clearer idea of next steps.
