Great to meet you!

Kellie has a Masters Degree in Social work for PSU and has more than 20 years experience working in the Mental Health Development and Community Practice. Kellie is certified in EMDR therapy, and has extensive experience in trauma informed practice, Internal FamilySystems, LGBTQIA+ wellness, Grief, Spirituality, and ADHD. She practices a foundational approach in Mindfulness Based Theory and the Mind-Body connection. She approaches healing through a person centered, humanistic, collaborative effort between the therapist and the client, to find integration and balance of the holistic self.

My approach to therapy

It is important to meet the client where they are. If they want to understand who I am as a person/therapist before becoming vulnerable in session, that is understandable. If they are having a crisis and need to vent immediately, lets dive in to that. These sessions are a space for the client to feel safe in their vulnerable and authentic self.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a no pressure approach to getting to know each other. It can feel daunting to meet with a therapist for the first time and recount all of life's difficulties. We can take our time and do what feels best for you in the moment.
