Hello and welcome! I have extensive history of working with clients with addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have been in private practice for 6 years and prior to that worked in a Dual Recovery program serving clients with mental health issues as well as addiction issues. In my therapy practice, I take a strengths-based and client-centered approach, which means that I believe in focusing on your inherent strengths, resources, and potential. My role is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to explore your challenges, while also recognizing and building upon your existing abilities. Rather than simply addressing problems, we’ll work together to identify solutions that resonate with you and empower you to create lasting change.
After a therapy appointment, a client may leave with greater clarity about their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, as well as a deeper understanding of the issues they're facing. They might gain new coping strategies, insights into patterns that have been affecting their well-being, and a sense of empowerment in handling challenges. Most importantly, therapy offers a space to feel heard and validated, fostering a sense of support and hope for positive change.
