Great to meet you!

I am passionate about helping others work through life challenges. I have clinical experience in working with individuals and families experiencing an array of life events. I have been licensed for 18 years as an LCSW.

I desire to help others grow and be the best versions of themselves. We all have life experiences and stories that have led us to where we are currently in life. It doesn't mean we have to settle for that. I believe we are always growing and have the ability to accept our past and make our present and future the best they can be.

I have worked with clients experiencing life events such as: Divorce, Anxiety and depression, Family dynamics, Life changes/adjustments, and trauma.

I believe it is important to meet a client where they are at. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, calm environment. I believe it is important for a client to feel heard and know they have a voice.

Together, we will establish treatment goals and what you hope to get out of therapy. I regularly monitor how we are doing with reaching goals, checking in, assigning homework, and open dialogue. This is about your individual goals and desired outcomes through the therapeutic process.

My approach to therapy

My approach is non-judgmental, empathetic, and meeting a client where they are at. Building rapport and trust is essential to a good therapeutic relationship. I like to provide homework to my clients as appropriate to encourage the work outside of sessions. I also have experience in crisis intervention.

I utilize CBT, Brainspotting, solution-focused, and client centered modalities to assist clients in achieving their goals. I also utilize DBT.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will discuss confidentiality, mandated reporting laws, spend time gathering information about you and what brings you to therapy. This is done in a relaxed manner that feels comfortable and natural. You will share what brings you to therapy, what your desired goals are for therapy, and allows us to ensure you feel comfortable in moving forward with me as your provider.
