Kelly Dunaway

Greetings, my name is Kelly. Prior to becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I spent 16 years working as a psychiatric nurse in inpatient mental health settings, providing comprehensive care to individuals across the lifespan with a broad range of psychiatric conditions. This extensive clinical experience has shaped my practice and deepened my commitment to thoughtful, individualized, evidence-based care. I specialize in children, adolescents, and young adults, and I am dedicated to supporting their unique developmental and mental health needs.

My goal in medication management is to provide treatment that is carefully tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I utilize a collaborative, evidence-based approach designed to support meaningful, lasting growth and healing. My clinical practice primarily focuses on treating patients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and substance use disorders.

I aim to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your story and expressing your needs. In our first session, we will take time to explore your history, understand what you are experiencing, and begin shaping treatment goals together. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, ensuring that your care is grounded in your unique strengths, challenges, and hopes for healing.
