Great to meet you!

I received my bachelor's degree in social work in 2005 from the University of Milwaukee-Wisconsin, then later in life received my master's in social work as well from the University of Arkansas. I have been a mental health therapist for the past 10 years and have enjoyed working with all various ages and backgrounds. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Therapy, and Solution Focused are just a few of the therapies I use in my practice.

My approach to therapy

I am pretty laid back in sessions, inviting clients to be their authentic selves in a warm and safe environment. I typically will let the client lead the session, being able to process through their own life journey. At times, I will challenge negative thoughts, ask thought provoking questions, and/or encourage and empower clients to progress forward. In my 10 years of practice, I have seen clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, social anxiety, relationship issues, transitioning into adulthood and trauma.

What you can expect from me

I am pretty laid back in sessions, meeting the client where they are on their journey, and inviting clients to be their authentic selves in a warm and safe environment. I believe goals and outcomes vary from person to person, my hope though would be for the client to walk away feeling more aware, confident, and loving of who they are as a person.
