Great to meet you!

Dr. Kelly Jackson, PhD, LCSW, LICSW, LCSW-C, is a therapist, coach, speaker, and writer with over 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals through some of life’s most challenging seasons. Her clinical expertise spans trauma, anxiety, crisis intervention, stress management, self-care, and cultural and identity-related concerns — with a deep commitment to serving high-achieving women, women in leadership, and those navigating the intersection of personal and professional life.

Dr. Kelly is not just clinically trained — she is deeply human. She shows up to every session with warmth, honesty, and a genuine belief that every person who arrives for therapy is already worthy of healing and wholeness. She understands firsthand what it means to hold multiple roles, carry heavy responsibilities, and still have to tend to your own heart.

Clients often describe her as grounding, affirming, and refreshingly real. She will not just help you cope — she will help you understand yourself more fully, reconnect with your own voice, and build a life that actually feels like yours.

You deserve a space where you are truly seen. That is exactly what Dr. Kelly is committed to providing.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Kelly takes an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy — meeting each client where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs, history, and goals. She draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all framework, Dr. Kelly thoughtfully weaves together these approaches to address the whole person — mind, body, and lived experience. As a woman of faith, she welcomes clients who wish to incorporate their spirituality into the healing journey, and equally honors those who do not. All backgrounds, beliefs, and identities are welcome in her practice.

She believes healing happens in relationship, and the therapeutic alliance is at the heart of her work. Whether processing deep-rooted trauma, navigating emotional patterns, or rebuilding a sense of identity and self-worth, clients can trust that Dr. Kelly will bring both clinical expertise and genuine care to every session.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is simple — it is a conversation. Dr. Kelly will take time to hear your story, understand what brought you to this moment, and get a sense of where you are and where you want to go. There is no pressure to have it all figured out or to show up any particular way.

You can expect to feel heard, not evaluated. Safe, not rushed. And by the end of your first session, you will leave with a clearer sense of direction and the confidence that you do not have to navigate this alone.
