Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor with experience providing services in a variety of settings. Drawing from these experiences, I founded my own practice in 2018 after recognizing the need for progressive psychotherapy services that validate and advocate for marginalized communities.

Common concerns I work with include: anxiety, depression, trauma, and issues related to gender and sexuality. I also have specialized and affirming experience with neurodivergent clients.

My approach to therapy

I take a strengths-based position and exercise techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-focused Therapy. I utilize creative interventions and enjoy thinking outside the box to find new solutions to difficult problems. I believe that therapy includes the client and therapist working closely together to help change thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

Therapy includes you and me (and your natural supports, when possible/necessary) working closely together to help change your feelings, behaviors, and thoughts. There will be things done together during your sessions, as well as things for you to focus on and apply at home. Some changes may come quickly, but some will take more time and effort for a lasting change.
