Great to meet you!

I am a caring and open-minded therapist who believes that healing and growth occur in the context of a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship. I have training in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and tailor my work to meet each person’s unique needs and goals. I believe that every person has strengths and resilience, and my role is to help individuals recognize those strengths while providing tools, insight, and support to help them move toward the life they want to live.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and person-centered. I work to create a space where everyone feels heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I draw from approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based therapy, and insight-oriented therapy, depending on what fits best. Together, we will explore patterns, thoughts, emotions, and experiences, while also developing practical coping skills and strategies for change. I believe therapy should be both supportive and meaningful, helping individuals not only understand themselves better but also make real, lasting changes in their lives.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, you can expect a welcoming, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment where you can share at your own pace. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. I will also gather some background information to better understand your experiences and needs. By the end of the first session, we will begin to identify goals for therapy and discuss how we can work together moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the process.
