Great to meet you!

I am passionate about the mental health field providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard and understood. My background includes training in evidence-based approaches, and I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, and life transitions. I strive to tailor each session to meet your unique needs, helping you build practical tools and insight for lasting change. My goal is to collaborate with you in a way that feels empowering, culturally responsive, and grounded in trust.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, client-centered, and grounding in creating a safe space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches. I focus on helping to strengthen coping skills, increase self-awareness, and work through life's challenges. I value authenticity, cultural sensitivity, and meeting you where you are, so we can move at a pace that feels right for you while work toward meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share at your own pace. We'll spend time getting to know what brings you to therapy, discussing your goals, and exploring any concerns or questions you may have about the process. I'll also gather some background information to better understand your experiences and identify areas we can focus on together. By the end of the session, we'll begin to outline initial goals and next steps, so you leave with a clearer sense of direction and what working together will look like moving forward.
