Great to meet you!

Hello! Thank you for stopping by. My name is Kendall Herr and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I graduated from Oregon State University-Cascades campus with a Master of Counseling degree. I started my career as a high school counselor and transitioned to private practice in 2022. I enjoy helping people of all ages and stages in life who are experiencing things ranging from depression and anxiety to life transitions or relationship issues. I work from a Person Centered lense and utilize techniques from things such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help clients with coping skills.

My approach to therapy

Life is hard but you don't have to do it alone! Let's explore why life is hard for you and see what we can do to make it better. Things like depression, anxiety, relationship issues, work stress, and trauma make it really hard to be the best version of yourself. It changes the way you view yourself and the world around you and makes even the simplest things feel impossible. When you feel like you have lost yourself and don't know where to turn or what to do, that's where the work begins! Change can be possible if you are ready to open your heart and mind to new possibilities and face hard things.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will consist of reviewing practice policies and procedures and then starting to know you and what brings you to counseling so we can work on a plan together that will meet our individual needs.
