Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kendra Blackwell, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I believe caring for your mental health is one of the most important steps you can take toward healing and balance, and reaching out for support is a strong first step. I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, mood changes, and life transitions. My approach is warm, supportive, and personalized, with treatment plans designed to meet your unique needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and centered around each client’s individual needs. I create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being honest about their experiences. I combine evidence-based treatment, medication management when appropriate, and practical coping strategies to help clients make meaningful progress. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, stress, mood disorders, and women’s mental health concerns, including life changes related to hormonal transitions. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, balanced, and confident in their healing journey.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment during their first session. We will spend time discussing your concerns, symptoms, personal history, and goals so I can gain a clear understanding of how to best support you. My priority is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and respected while building a treatment plan tailored to your needs. By the end of the session, clients often leave with greater clarity, practical next steps, and hope for meaningful progress.
