Great to meet you!

My name is Kendra, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified School Psychologist. I hold Master’s degrees in Counseling, with an Advanced Mental Health Specialization, and in School Psychology. With over 15 years of experience working in outpatient mental health settings and schools, I have supported individuals facing anxiety, interpersonal challenges, life transitions, stress, career changes, parenting concerns, divorce, and grief.

My approach to therapy

I strongly believe in the importance of building a strong therapeutic alliance and taking a client-centered approach to therapy. Providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment is essential for meaningful growth. My goal is to work collaboratively with you to identify and prioritize your goals. Everyone deserves to feel empowered and fulfilled in their life, and I would be honored to support you on that journey.

What you can expect from me

It is very common for clients to feel anxious before their first therapy session, some even consider canceling due to those feelings. However, many clients share that within the first few minutes of meeting together, their anxiety begins to decrease, and they start to feel more at ease.

During our first session, I prioritize addressing any immediate questions or concerns you may have. We will review the overall therapeutic process, as well as discuss your expectations and goals moving forward. This initial meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust and understanding.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
