Great to meet you!

Welcome. Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you're carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, or questions about who you are and how you want to move through the world. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults who are navigating challenges related to anxiety, depression, PTSD, identity concerns, family issues, grief and loss, stress, anger, sleep difficulties, and life transitions. I also provide affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals and those exploring gender identity and transgender experiences. Many people come to therapy feeling exhausted, misunderstood, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward. My goal is to create a space where you can feel accepted, understood, and supported as we work together toward greater self-awareness, healing, and personal growth. Therapy is an opportunity to better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, and build a life that feels more authentic and meaningful.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, open-minded, and infused with humor when appropriate. I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be themselves and empowered to make meaningful changes. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, humanistic therapy, and strength-based approaches to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, trauma responses, anger, sleep concerns, family conflict, or relationship difficulties. I strive to provide therapy that is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person's unique goals and experiences. Sessions are designed to foster self-awareness, emotional resilience, healthier coping skills, and greater confidence in navigating life's challenges. Whether you're processing grief, exploring identity, healing from trauma, or managing everyday stressors, we'll work together to create meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a supportive, affirming, and judgment-free environment where you are encouraged to show up as your authentic self. I value building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and collaboration. Together, we'll create goals that reflect what matters most to you and work at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable. Through our work, you may develop healthier coping skills, improved emotional regulation, stronger relationships, increased self-confidence, and a deeper understanding of yourself. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more empowered, connected, and capable of navigating life's challenges with greater clarity and self-compassion. No matter where you are in your journey, you do not have to face it alone.
