I am Kendra MS Miller, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering a compassionate approach to mental health care for individuals & couples in Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina & Ohio. I specializes in anxiety, ADHD, stress management, self-esteem, trauma, & life coaching. Practicing from a Christian, trauma-informed perspective, I able to identify the symptoms of trauma & help clients understand how it manifests in their lives. My goal is to empower you by helping you identify, own, & address your feelings while developing coping skills to replace negative thoughts & feelings.
I am particularly passionate about supporting college athletes & helping individuals move past their barriers to personal & professional growth. As a member of the Alliance of Social Workers In Sports, I understands the unique pressures & challenges faced by college athletes, offering tailored support to help them navigate both academic & athletic demands. My growth mindset and expertise with the “Let Them Theory” allow me to help clients grow by establishing boundaries, learning to let go, reclaim their peace, and focus on their own healing. In my practice, I utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, mindfulness techniques. I am dedicated to helping clients through their journey to achieve emotional wellness & personal peace through empathy, empowerment, self-discovery, & accountability.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy cross-stitching, jigsaw puzzles, vacationing, & spending time with my family. My personal passions reflect my dedication to mindfulness & the importance of balance in life.
