Great to meet you!

I'm a small town girl from Mississippi funny, direct, and relatable. After only a brief moment, you will feel like we've known each other for life. I'm God-fearing energetic and honest and I'm able to build rapport quickly. I enjoy working with families and individuals, helping them navigate through difficult periods in relationships where drug addiction is/has been present. It is my goal to normalize prioritizing self-care and increasing awareness of the impact addiction has on the family.

My approach to therapy

I have a laid back approach to therapy and prioritize creating a safe/therapeutic environment for individuals and family members who choose to heal from the impact substance addiction has on the family. Models used over the past 12 years, Christian spirituality, 12-steps, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused therapy and Cognitive Behavior therapy etc. are ones I pull from most often. I utilize other models such as Family Systems approach to codependency.

What you can expect from me

I work with families and individuals to accomplish abstinence goals. To feel empowered to make individual choices for their own healing and help each person access the answers that reside within. By the end of our initial session, you’ll feel like we’ve known each other for a lifetime.
