Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Dr. Ken Jones, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist working with people in the states of Tennessee and Arkansas. I've been in private practice for over twenty years, working with single adults, couples, and adolescents. I help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns. I believe building genuine rapport and trust is essential, and I work collaboratively to challenge thinking in a supportive way, guiding clients toward a more balanced, productive, and fulfilling outlook on life.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approach, while placing strong emphasis on building genuine rapport and trust with each client. I believe a solid therapeutic relationship is the foundation for effective change.

Together, we’ll work to identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, gently challenge them, and develop more balanced, realistic, and productive ways of thinking. My goal is to help single adults, couples, and adolescents gain clarity, build resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where you can feel comfortable sharing your story. I’ll take time to get to know you — what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you’re hoping to achieve.

Because building genuine trust is so important to me, I’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. We’ll talk through your goals, and I’ll explain how we can work together using a cognitive behavioral approach. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer sense of how I work and whether we’re a good fit. There’s no pressure — just an honest, collaborative conversation.
