Great to meet you!
Life is lived in the layers, and when we're in distress or feel disconnected, often it has to do with not seeing what's most essential and may be right in front of us. Being grounded, attentive, receptive and responsive is most helpful. I received my MSW from NYU in 1983, anchor my life and work in Zen practice and teaching, and value the art of helping others find their voice through careful listening. To have a voice is to affirm you exist; to be heard affirms you're not alone.
