Great to meet you!

I've been in the mental health fields for over twenty years, from residential programs and inpatient hospitals, to insurance and outpatient. I trained in Psychology at the New School for Social Research, and Social Work at the University of Michigan.

My approach to therapy

The foundation of my work is Person Centered Therapy, meeting you where you're at, and following your lead for the direction you want to explore. Sometimes that will lead us into cognitive behavioral work, sometimes into mindfulness, sometimes into coping skills practice. You're in the driver's seat.

What you can expect from me

It's been said that while pain may be mandatory, suffering is optional.

I strive to help people learn to relate to themselves, and the world around them, in ways that are honest, useful, and kind.

In this way we seek to alleviate suffering, and create the opportunity for more joy and meaning to emerge.
