Great to meet you!

I’m Keona Smith, LCPC, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions using CBT, DBT, and faith-based approaches.

My approach to therapy

I use a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach, meeting clients where they are. I integrate CBT, DBT, and faith-based techniques to help individuals manage anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I focus on practical coping skills, self-awareness, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we’ll get to know each other, discuss what brought you to therapy, and identify your goals. I create a warm, judgment-free environment and believe humor can make therapy feel more comfortable. I use minimal self-disclosure while keeping the focus on you and your needs.
